👗 SPLASHED WITH COFFEE AT THE BRIDAL BOUTIQUE, UNTIL SHE PULLED OUT THE ROYAL BLACK VIP CARD... – PART 2 🤫

The atmosphere inside the boutique, which moments ago had vibrated with the cruel laughter of the staff, curdled into a suffocating, heavy silence. The manager, whose face had been twisted in a sneer of pure derision, now looked as though she were staring into the barrel of a loaded gun. Her knees audibly knocked together.

The woman in the gray suit, the one who had so gleefully ruined the red-haired girl’s jacket, stood frozen, her eyes darting between the steaming cup in her hand and the golden, navy-trimmed card held in the girl's trembling, coffee-stained fingers.

The matriarch, Mrs. Sterling, didn't look at the staff. She didn't look at the gowns. She walked straight to the red-haired girl, Clara, and her eyes softened with a terrifying, icy intensity as she took in the ruined coat.

"Clara," Mrs. Sterling said, her voice a low, melodic whisper that echoed against the crystal chandeliers. "My dear, I told you that trying on dresses was a private affair. I didn't realize you had already invited the neighborhood bullies to participate."

The manager’s voice was a high, jagged screech. "Mrs. Sterling... we... we didn't know! She... she looked like she didn't belong! We thought she was just a common vagrant!"

Mrs. Sterling finally turned. The look she gave the manager was not one of anger—it was one of such profound, chilling indifference that it was far worse.
