THE HEIR’S RETRIBUTION – THE FALL OF THE GROOM 🤫🎂

The silence that followed was heavy, like the air before a devastating storm. The groom, Marcus, stood frozen, his hand still smeared with cake, his gaze locked onto the delivery man—now standing tall, regal, and terrifyingly composed in the wreckage of the five-tiered dessert.

"Brother?" Marcus stammered, the word tasting like ash in his mouth. "But... but you’ve been in Europe for five years. You were supposed to be dead. The accident... the report said the plane went down in the Atlantic!"

The delivery man, Julian, slowly wiped the cream from his eyes with a silk handkerchief he pulled from his jacket pocket—a suit that was hidden underneath the cheap, bright yellow delivery uniform. The cheap exterior fell away, revealing a man whose presence commanded more authority in a heartbeat than Marcus had managed in an entire lifetime.

"The report was written by your father-in-law's legal team, Marcus," Julian said, his voice smooth and lethally calm. "A convenient way to clear the path for you to inherit my position, isn't it? You thought you were marrying into the crown of this family, but you were merely playing with borrowed toys."

The bride, Clara, was weeping uncontrollably, clutching Julian’s arm. "Julian, I didn't know! They told me you were gone! They told me you’d never return!"

Julian turned to his sister, his expression softening only for a fraction of a second before hardening again as he looked back at Marcus. "I know, Clara. I’ve been watching from the shadows for months. I needed to see exactly who this man was when he thought no one was watching."
