HE WAS DRAGGED OUT OF THE JEWELRY STORE

💎 HE WAS DRAGGED OUT OF THE JEWELRY STORE – PART 2 🤫

The atmosphere in the store shifted from cold arrogance to a vacuum of pure panic. The police officer, who seconds ago had been chest-deep in bravado, felt the floor slip from beneath his feet. He looked from the jeweler to the boy, his face turning an ashen gray as he realized the gravity of his mistake: he hadn't just bullied a child; he had committed a brutal, public assault against the primary beneficiary of a legendary estate.

The store owner, a man known for his razor-sharp integrity, didn't waste a second. He pulled out his phone and made a single, direct call to the Chief of Police. "Cancel all units for this district. I have a situation here involving a wrongful detainment, excessive force, and a minor. If the officer in question is still here when I hang up, I will see to it that his badge is not the only thing he loses today."

The officer didn't wait to be told twice. He backed out of the store, his head hanging low, knowing his career was now a ticking time bomb.

The owner turned back to the boy, who was still trembling, his grip on the worn box loosening. "My name is Elias," the jeweler said, his voice now softened with genuine concern. "That pendant... it belonged to the Duchess of Vane. It was reported stolen twenty years ago during the Great Heist. The fact that it’s in your hands means your mother was either the victim or the true protector of the Thorne legacy."

"She told me to sell it only when I was hungry enough to die," the boy whispered. "She said it would buy me a life where I’d never have to look over my shoulder again."
